Greetings! Where has the first half of 2018 gone? I can hardly believe that school is out and 4th of July is next week. Mid-year is always a time that we at The Stokes Group stop to reflect on the year so far and look forward to some downtime over the summer. We’re also already laying the groundwork for a busy fall season.

So far in 2018, we’ve helped over 40 buyers and sellers meet their housing goals including upsizing, downsizing, cross-country moves and 1 block over moves. Inventory remains historically low but pricing, marketing, presentation and timing remain the bedrock of a successful sale. On the buying side patience with the process, strong financials and nimble timing have helped many of our buyers prevail in this tight market.

We’ve found time to have some fun so far this year including our popular wellness series (save the date for our 5k run this fall – Sunday, October 14th at 9:00 AM) and time off for everyone on the team. My husband and I took our 3 boys skiing in Utah and Whitaker got up on skis for the first time! Dana hit a milestone birthday (we won’t say which one!) and celebrated by spending time in Aruba with friends. Taylor, and her husband Ian, went camping in West Virginia. Colleen was the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding, and Ryan took an epic trip to The Masters.
