For the second activity in our 2018 Wellness Series, we asked our clients to join us for a high intensity interval training (HIIT) class at Elevate Fitness on 14th street in DC.

David, the owner and our instructor, WORKED US OUT, using a combination of treadmill challenges, weight lifting exercises, and row machine tasks.

For many in the class, this was their first time doing this type of workout, and it gave them the chance to switch things up and try something new.

We had a great time checking out Elevate, regardless of how sore we were the next day!

Coming up next in our Wellness Series, we’re partnering with physical therapist, Jesse Lewis. In April, he’ll be holding a complimentary running seminar, offering training tips and techniques. Whether you’re trying to complete your first 5k, or are preparing for a marathon, Jesse will offer insight on how you can train safely to avoid injury. He’ll also be conducting individualized running assessments, giving pointers on your own technique, and offering recommendations for proper footwear. Stay tuned for date and location details.
